Researching and creating Nonfiction text features

Students researched online sources to find relevant facts and information. They were then expected to create a poster using at least 4 nonfiction text features.

Kindergarten Buddies

Fifth graders taught kindergarten students how to make patterns. They did this by using beads to make a candy cane.

Gingerbread Houses

Students engineered the structure and designed the appearance of gingerbread houses. They also learned about perimeter and area by measuring the gingerbread homes.

Abbett Food Drive

Pine Hills Church collected Christmas dinners for Abbett Elementary Families. In the following pictures, you can see families receiving their food.
